Former World Rallycross driver Lukacs Kornel will make his RallyX Nordic presented by Cooper Tires debut in the Supercar class at Kouvola in Finland this weekend, it has been confirmed.
Often referred to by his nickname “Csucsu”, the Hungarian is a familiar figure in World RX and Euro RX series’ having competed on the international stage in 2017 at the wheel of his distinctive Kia Rio under the Speedy Motorsport banner.
For 2018, Csucsu is competing in the European Rallycross Championship, driving a Volkswagen Polo as part of the Hedstroms Motorsport helmed by leading RallyX Nordic competitor Peter Hedstrom.
Csucsu is another major addition to an already sizeable RallyX Nordic entry list for Kouvola which will see the full-time competitors joined by 23 Finnish wild-cards. With Csucsu included, the entry list for this weekend’s event stands at 33 Supercars.
