Petter Leirhol has become the latest driver to commit to the 2019 RallyX on Ice festival, as he looks to builds on an eye-catching maiden season of Supercar Lites competition.
The young Norwegian competed in the ice-racing series last year, enjoying his best weekend in Holjes, but is this season targeting the final in his self-prepared Leirhol Motorsport Lites machine.
“I’m really looking forward to this years RallyX on Ice,” he said. “I can’t wait to get in the Lites car again – it’s like a dream come true with every race.
“I am hoping to show improvement from last year and maybe be in the fight for a place in the final.”
To be held over six days in the Swedish resort of Are, three rounds will take place across three different layouts, with Leirhol applauding the fan-friendly format.
“The compact of format of this year will be exciting and intense – just as Rallycross should be!”
