Up-and-coming rallycross racer Martin Enlund is to make his Supercar Lites race debut in this month’s RallyX on Ice festival.
The teenager, who turns 18 in the run up to the competition – held across March 18 – 20 – 23 March at Lake Are – Sweden progresses to Lites machinery having impressed during his time competing in Crosskart.
Most recently capturing victory on Ice in the Xtreme SM-veckan event in Sundsvall in February to become its youngest-ever champion, Enlund is looking forward to progressing to 310HP Lites machinery for the first time in Are.
“I am looking forward to making my rallycross debut in such a cool car,” the young Swede said. “I really enjoy competing on the ice, I won the Swedish Championship in Crosskart Xtreme earlier this year so although I haven’t tried the Lites car yet, I think it will be a lot of fun.
“My goal is to learn as much as possible and strive for as good a result as I can achieve over the three rounds.”
