Nils Andersson anticipates competitive Nysum CrossCar grid

2018 CrossCar champion, Nils Andersson, continued his imperious form from last year at the opening two rounds of his 2019 campaign with the Swede dominating on home turf and scoring an impressive 59 points out of a possible 60 during the double-header weekend.

With the guidance of two-time FIA World Rallycross Champion Johan Kristoffersson, Nils won both finals, besting Ole Henry Steinsholt of OHS RX on the Saturday and compatriot Jimmie Österberg on Sunday.

”The key to success in Höljes was perfect starts. I managed to find a good set-up from the beginning and I could start the season in the best possible way. The Danish Nysumbanen is a completely new experience for me, and I am expecting a tough challenge here. Some of my main competitors suffered from technical problems in Höljes and they are eager to improve their results, but the local drivers entering this event I think are favorites here in Denmark”

The Nysumbanen track boasts a unique figure-of-eight configuration, a bridge/jump combination and plenty of opportunities to overtake, there wil also be seven new drivers on the grid at the Danish track, all of which should produce close and exciting racing at round three of RallyX Nordic.
