Eriksson back on top at Finnskogbanen

Oliver Eriksson reigned victorious at Round 5 of the 2019 RallyX Nordic presented by Cooper Tires championship after battling with Robin Larsson (second) and Jere Kalliokoski (third) throughout the weekend. Eriksson looked to have everything under control whilst his fellow championship rivals engaged in a last-lap battle for the remaining podium places. The Olsbergs MSE driver extended his lead at the top of the standings after his third win of the season.

A popular victory in Supercar Lites came in the form of Linus Östlund, while the home favourite – Ben-Philip Gundersen – fell short in the final after dominating much of the weekend. Östlund snatched the lead from Gundersen and didn’t look back, taking his first win of the 2019 Nordic season ahead of Mats Oskarsson and Anders Michalak.

Jimmie Österberg was the man to take victory in CrossCars, after winning two heats and a semi-final earlier in the day, the young Swede looked to be on a mission in Norway. Österberg took the win with an ominous three-second gap from Isac Egonsson and Isak Reiersen.
