With the second edition of the FIA Motorsport Games taking place in Valencia from 23 to 27 October, the stars of the RallyX championship will be out in force to defend their chances.
Of the 14 drivers in the Junior CrossCar category, four come directly from the RallyX championship.
Fourteenth overall in the CrossCar Senior class, Oliver Lucas Jensen will defend the Danish flag, while Theo Johansen (13ᵉ in the Junior Championship), Geir-Genor Muttik (17ᵉ in the Junior Championship) and Josefin Holmqvist will represent Norway, Estonia and Sweden respectively.
While the man to beat in Senior CrossCar will be three-time FIA European Champion David Méat, the contingent of RallyX drivers will certainly do everything in their power to stand in his way.
Alongside 2023 RallyX champion Sebastian Enhölm (Sweden), Joonatan Ylilammi will be one of the drivers to watch.
Fourth overall this year in his first CrossCar Senior campaign, the 16-year-old Finn has made a strong impression with two wins and a total of six podium finishes in ten races.
Eighth overall in 2024 and with five qualifications for a final at the wheel of his new LifeLive TN11 chassis, Estonian Martin Juga will undoubtedly be one of the favourites, while young Norwegian Eirik Steinsholt will be looking to confirm his excellent performances in the RallyX championship.
Although he missed the double-header in Älvsbyn, Steinsholt secured 13th place in the championship with three qualifications for a final, including a first podium finish in Nysum.
The last representative of the RallyX championship to be selected for the FIA Motorsport Games, Danish driver Nicklas Lucas Jensen, will also try to confirm that his first career podium, achieved at Nysum last August, was no fluke.
