Dutch prodigy Nathan Ottink confirms his move to RallyX

Reigning European Autocross Champion in the Junior Buggy category, Dutch driver Nathan Ottink has decided to focus on the RallyX Championship and the Supercar/Open 4WD class for the 2025 season.

A national and Benelux karting champion in 2018, Ottink made a name for himself by securing a European vice-champion title in the discipline before shifting his focus to off-road racing.

In 2022, he triumphed in the FIA Motorsport Games, winning the CrossCar Junior category. Over the past two seasons, he has dedicated himself to the European Autocross Championship and Junior Buggy competition. After finishing as the European runner-up in 2023, he claimed the ultimate prize in 2024, securing five victories and a total of eight podium finishes in ten races.

Now, at just 18 years old, the young Dutchman is ready to take on the challenge of Rallycross.

To make this transition, Ottink will compete in a Ford Focus built by Jos Kuypers, recently acquired during the off-season by his compatriot Bart Bel.

Initially, he will participate in the “Southern League,” which includes rounds in Montalegre, Valkenswaard, and Buxtehude. He has also confirmed his entry for the Danish event in Nysum, set to take place during the first weekend of August.

Beyond his Rallycross debut, the European Autocross champion will step away from the Junior Buggy category to focus on the European CrossCar Championship, where he will drive a TN11 chassis developed by LifeLive.
