After securing the Supercar Lites RallyX title for 2021, Tommi Hallman has officially confirmed his commitment for the 2025 season. This time around, the talented Finnish driver will take up the challenge behind the wheel of the brand new FC2, aiming to prove that he can compete with the big names and the best Supercars on the grid.

Tommi Hallman needs no introduction. Since 2021, the former RX Academy graduate has been on an unstoppable streak of 23 consecutive podiums, including impressive 16 wins.

Double champion of Nitrocross Europe and World in 2022/2023, and double race-winner in the FC2 class in the United States in 2024 before the championship was suspended, Hallman will now face the world’s best rallycross specialists in Montalegre at the end of March.

“I am really excited about this new adventure,” says Tommi Hallman.

“The line-up for this first event promises an incredibly intense start to the season, with many of the drivers having previously competed in FC1 Nitrocross. This means that this will be the toughest championship I’ve ever had the opportunity to compete in. Montalegre is a big challenge, but at the same time I feel relatively confident with the FC2. I have had the opportunity to compete in four Nitrocross races and have felt comfortable with the car from the start. I can’t wait for the first event at Montalegre.”

Having previously competed in categories designed for the youngest rallycross prospects, the Finn is fully aware of the immense challenge that lies ahead.

“This RallyX campaign is undoubtedly the biggest challenge of my career. In Nitrocross I was up against Mitchell De Jong and Casper Jansson and we were all incredibly close in terms of pace. This meant that I had to put in a flawless performance just to have a chance of beating them,” explains Hallman.

“However, this season in RallyX is shaping up to be even more competitive, with an exceptional line-up of drivers – some of the fastest in our sport. That’s going to make things a lot more complicated. Now, if you make a mistake behind the wheel, you won’t just lose a position or two – you could drop five or six places in the standings. Precision will be more important than ever because there will be absolutely no room for mistakes.”

For the time being, Tommi Hallman will focus on the RallyX South Championship, which includes Montalegre, Valkenswaard and Estering, while keeping the door open for possible additions to his schedule.

“For now, the plan is to compete in RallyX South, with Montalegre, Valkenswaard and Estering. Beyond that, we’ll be looking at our options, starting with the Kymiring event in Finland, which is certainly an interesting opportunity for us. But these are decisions we’ll take in the coming weeks.”

While Tommi Hallman is one of the most promising talents on the rallycross scene, the RallyX platform should allow him to prove that he is capable of beating the best international rallycross drivers.
