Fresh off two consecutive podiums following his return to competition last month in Riga, Maiko Tamm delivered another statement performance by claiming his second career victory in the Open 4WD Pro category.

After a tough opening day that saw him finish tenth in the intermediate standings, the TT Motorsport driver came back strong, fending off challenges from Anton Seppä and Joni Turpeinen.

Tenth after Q2, the 2023 RallyX Pro Am champion reversed his fortunes the following day with a fourth-fastest time in Q3, followed by the best time in Q4. That effort earned him a jump of seven places, allowing him to finish third behind Joni Turpeinen and Anton Seppä heading into the finals.

In the closing stages, Tamm was simply untouchable. He crossed the finish line ahead of Anton Seppä and Fraser McConnell, while Joni Turpeinen fell just short of the podium, finishing ahead of Jari Tuuri and Ulrik Linnemann. With three consecutive podium finishes now to his name, Tamm has taken over as the new RallyX North championship leader.

Seppä Stays Steady in Open 4WD Pro Am

In the Open 4WD Pro Am category, Anton Seppä kept his cool to secure his second win in three rounds this season. Beating Mikko Ikonen and Jari Tuuri to the flag, the young Finn now sits comfortably atop the championship standings.

Jansson Reigns Supreme in FC2
In FC2, Casper Jansson made no mistake, collecting his third victory of the season by holding off fierce pressure from Tommi Hallman and Oliver Eriksson in the final.

Meunier Stuns the Field in Supercar Lites

In Supercar Lites, the biggest surprise came from Julien Meunier, who capitalized on the final stages to turn the weekend around and secure the second victory of his career at this level of competition. Yet nothing had hinted at such an outcome.

Lukas Andersson had dominated the early stages with back-to-back wins in Q1 and Q2, but a broken driveshaft at the start of Q3 put an abrupt end to his momentum, stripping him of the top spot.

Roberts Vitols seized the opportunity, claiming the title of top qualifier for the third consecutive event. However, the tide quickly turned in the semifinals. Tobias Daarbak overtook Andersson in one heat, while Julien Meunier followed suit in the other, outpacing Vitols to book his place in the final.

Vitols and Daarbak ultimately fell short in the final, settling for sixth and fifth respectively. Meunier, meanwhile, pulled away with authority, winning by nearly five seconds over Lukas Andersson. Kevin Daarbak clinched his fourth podium of the season, collecting valuable points with a third-place finish.

Johansson Keeps Winning in Open 2WD

In the Open 2WD category, Simon Tiger’s engine failure on day two of racing effectively removed any suspense from the final outcome. After topping the qualifying sheets, Viktor Johansson made no mistake in the final, claiming his third win of the season ahead of Lucas Gabrielsson and Mikko Ikonen.

Tsirna Returns to the Top

After a rocky start to the season, Romet Tsirna delivered a breakout performance at KymiRing. The Estonian driver, who had already reached a final earlier in the year in Riga, put together a flawless weekend—dominating the qualifying heats before carrying that momentum through the final stages to seal the win.

Thomas Eek Murstad and Martin Juga, who ranked second and third in the intermediate classification, completed the podium in that order, ahead of Joonatan Ylilammi, Espen Isaksætre, and Vetle Try.

Piira Shines in CrossCar Junior

In the CrossCar Junior category, 13-year-old Peetu Piira continued his impressive ascent. In Riga, the young Finn had already made waves with a podium finish in Race 1, followed by a win the next day.

This time, Piira celebrated another triumph—adding a new victory to his record as Rallycross made its debut at the KymiRing circuit.

Carl Svedlund managed to secure third place, just behind Peetu Matalamäki, but it wasn’t enough to hold onto the top spot in the North Championship standings. The day’s winner, Piira, now takes over the lead—by a mere two points.

Meanwhile, Alex Antilla, who had dominated the intermediate classification and delivered a standout performance on home soil at KymiRing, saw his weekend come to a disappointing end with a retirement in the final.
