As Oliver Eriksson seized his first win of the 2025 FC2 season in Race 2 at Älvsbyn, all signs point to an electrifying climax to the year, with the final two rounds in Denmark and at Germany’s Buxtehude circuit promising intensity at every turn.

Although the Swedish driver had already racked up five podium finishes since the start of the campaign, victory had so far eluded the OMSE team representative—leaving Casper Jansson (4 wins) and Tommi Hallman (2 wins) to dominate the early narrative.

Yet over the course of the weekend, Eriksson went toe-to-toe with Saturday’s winner, Casper Jansson, with both drivers collecting 42 points apiece.

Heading into the upcoming Danish and German rounds of the RallyX North championship, Jansson leads the standings with 66 points, narrowly ahead of Eriksson on 60. Meanwhile, Fraser McConnell remains firmly in the hunt with 53 points to his name.

Simon Olofsson, currently on 45 points, re-entered the conversation with a second podium in Sunday’s race at Älvsbyn. He now sits just eight points behind McConnell in the battle for the final spot on the overall FC2 North podium.

CrossCar graduate and reigning RallyX champion Elias Svensson finds himself in a similar position, trailing Olofsson by just two points on 42, and still very much in contention.

One thing is clear: the 2025 FC2 season is heading for a spectacular conclusion—especially with the long-awaited return of a certain Tommi Hallman to the mix
