After a successful morning of testing on Friday and public debut in the downtown Lucas Oil Labor Day Parade that same afternoon, RallyX will make its highly anticipated debut at Crandon International Raceway later this afternoon with a demonstration race for the First Corner FC1 on Crandon’s short course. The action can be seen live at 4:45PM CT on the RACER Network.
Competing in today’s showcase event will be:
- Andrew Carlson (USA), championship-winning Snocross racer and Pro 4 and Pro SXS racer;
- Kevin Eriksson (Sweden), rallycross Lites and RallyX on Ice champion and lead development driver of the FC1;
- Oliver Eriksson (Sweden), three-time rallycross Lites champion and multi-time FC1 race winner;
- Tanner Foust (USA), multi-time American rallycross and Formula Drift champion, multi-time X Games gold medalist, and television host/stunt driver;
- Fraser McConnell (Jamaica), winner of multiple RallyX FC2 finals this season and multi-time Jamaican Driver of the Year
Today’s showcase will also serve as the race debut for the FC1’s all new vehicle powertrain amplifier, developed by Borla and Kicker. Fans rallied around the new sound during Friday’s parade, cheering on the drivers to show it off as they brought the cars through downtown Crandon.
In contrast to Crandon’s traditional Turn One, RallyX will put its start right in front of the fans, rolling five-wide down from the first jump in front of the fans. This start zone will allow fans to see the FC1’s dramatic acceleration—0 to 60 miles per hour in just 1.5 seconds—up close. From there, racers will drive five laps of Crandon’s Short Track after they cross the start-finish line. A Joker Lap will not be used for the demonstration event.
Fans on hand for the action can visit the RallyX display behind the Lucas Oil Barn to see all five FC1s up close, as well as the FC2 car and FC5 cross car. RallyX Americas will then return to Crandon in June 2026 for a full event as part of the Forest County Potawatomi Brush Run.
