After a first year of learning the ropes in the Supercar Lites category in 2024, Kevin Daarbak has clearly taken a major step forward over the past few months on the RallyX scene.
Already a five-time Danish CrossCar champion before joining RallyX last year, the 17-year-old driver made full use of his 2025 campaign to showcase his potential.
With six podium finishes from 13 starts, Daarbak secured fifth place in the overall standings—just 12 points shy of his older brother, Tobias.
More importantly, with three third-place finishes in the final four rounds of the year, the young Dane proved he has the composure and maturity to be considered a serious contender heading into the 2026 season.
“I couldn’t have dreamed of a better way to end my season than by stepping onto the podium one last time. It was a huge moment of satisfaction to close the year on such a high note,” said Kevin Daarbak.

“This season has been absolutely crazy for me. Last year, I was still in the learning phase. At the start of this championship, even a single Top 3 would have made me happy—so finishing the year with six podiums is just an incredible feeling.”
That result also underlines the fiercely competitive nature of the 2025 grid.
“The level in Supercar Lites was incredibly high this year, and I’m proud to have shown I had the speed and pace to fight at the front. On the mechanical side, though, things didn’t always go as planned—especially early in the season at Valkenswaard, where I struggled with technical issues throughout both races that weekend. It was frustrating because I know I let a lot of points slip away there.”
As for what comes next, the Danish rising star remains open-minded about his future. While his brother Tobias has hinted at a possible move to the FC2 category, Kevin is taking a more measured approach.
“My brother is already thinking about next season and might not stay in Supercar Lites. As for me, I’m not sure yet what I’ll do. We’ll take time during the off-season to think it through—to see whether a new challenge like FC2 is worth pursuing, or if it makes more sense to stay in Supercar Lites for my development.”
