After making his first appearance in the RallyX championship in August 2023 at the Höljes circuit, Charlie Rosmalm Sebom is now preparing to take the next step in his development by confirming a full-time campaign in the CrossCar Senior category.
One thing is certain: since his days in CrossCar Junior, the young Swedish driver has come a long way. Crowned Swedish champion last season, Charlie Rosmalm will undoubtedly be one to watch closely in 2026, and his decision to commit to RallyX is certainly no coincidence.
“The RallyX grid is at an exceptional level. Every time I’ve had the chance to compete in this series, I’ve improved a lot as a driver. The standards are extremely high, and that naturally pushes you to raise your game. After my strong results in 2024 and 2025, I felt that the RallyX championship was the logical next challenge for me,” Charlie explains.
Before aiming higher, Charlie Rosmalm first built his progress on solid foundations in Sweden’s national competitions, a trajectory marked by particularly impressive results.
“In 2024, I won the junior category in Sweden. I finished in the top two in every race, with three wins and two second places, and I eventually secured the title with a 25-point lead. After that season, we changed the engine and our electronic management system to prepare for 2025 and our transition to the Senior category in the best possible conditions.”
“In 2025, I competed in two categories in Sweden, the Swedish Super Cup and the Swedish Championship. Even though it was my first season in the top category, I was determined to win everything. There were a few highs and lows, but in the end I managed to sweep everything in my path, claiming a second consecutive Swedish gold medal as well as the Supercupen title.”

Behind these performances lies a reality well known in motorsport: reaching the highest level remains a constant financial challenge. For Rosmalm, every step forward has been the result of long-term effort.
“I’ve always dreamed of competing at the highest level of motorsport, but I never really had the financial means. We worked extremely hard just to take part in certain events, like Höljes in 2023, where we wanted to see where we stood against the best drivers in Europe.”
“Motorsport is expensive, and it’s very difficult when you don’t have the backing of a major company. After my title in 2025, I didn’t really know what the next step in my CrossCar journey would be, but I knew that RallyX was the path to follow. Thanks to the support of local partners and sponsors, we eventually managed to put together the budget needed to compete at the highest level in 2026.”
After Alexander Lindeqvist last season, Charlie will now continue his development under the colours of the Hoffman Motorsport structure.
“Hoffman Motorsport has supported me for many years, both with guidance and by providing competitive equipment. For 2026, there was never really any question about which team I would race with. Hoffman Motorsport has been part of my journey from the beginning and will continue helping me fight for victories in RallyX. It’s the ideal team to reach the highest level.”
For the upcoming campaign, the team has also chosen to begin a new technical chapter with a change of chassis, an additional challenge for a driver who makes no secret of his ambitions.
“My goal is simple: to win. That has never changed. We’ve switched chassis from Casmat to Speedcar, so there will obviously be a lot to learn. But the ambition remains the same. I’m coming to RallyX to fight at the front and reach the top.”
