Casper Jansson will remain active in RallyX this season with an FC2 programme, as the young Swedish driver continues to build on the strong momentum generated during the 2025 campaign.
Over the winter, Jansson and his team also focused on the construction of a second FC2 car, a project aimed at further strengthening their technical package for the upcoming season.
“During the winter we also built a new FC2. It is a very refined car where every detail has been carefully worked on. It provides an excellent base for continuing our development.”
The young Swede will begin his RallyX season at the Valkenswaard and Tierp events before assessing how the remainder of his calendar will take shape depending on his commitments and overall racing programme.
“Our strategy in RallyX this year is to start with the events in Valkenswaard and Tierp. After that, we will see how the rest of the season develops. A lot will depend on the time we have available.”
Following a particularly successful 2025 season, Casper Jansson approaches this new chapter with confidence and ambition. The young Swede managed to outperform drivers such as Tommi Hallman, Oliver Eriksson and Fraser McConnell in the FC2 category while also becoming the first driver in history to win an official race against the traditional Supercars.
“Last season was very positive for us. We won four titles out of a possible six, including three in FC2. We also managed to win a Supercar race in Denmark, which was quite special because it was the first time an FC2 car had beaten the Supercars.”

These results confirmed the potential of the FC2 platform.
“These results show that the FC2 can be competitive against Supercars. There are always areas where we can improve, but several upgrades have been made to the car for this new season. I hope that will allow us to be even more competitive than last year.”
Alongside the work carried out in the workshop, Jansson also focused on accumulating valuable track time over the winter months.
“We also competed in a few rally events during the winter in order to accumulate valuable driving time. It is always important to arrive fully prepared when the RallyX season begins. Rallying is a very demanding discipline, particularly with pace notes and everything that comes with it, so it was a very interesting experience. Driving on studded tyres was a lot of fun, but it was also excellent training for developing my feeling behind the wheel.”
The remainder of Jansson’s RallyX programme will be determined after the opening rounds.
“After Tierp, we will see how much time we have available and which other RallyX events we can compete in.”
Jansson is also set to continue taking steps on the international stage with the confirmation of his entry in the FIA European Championship Euro RX1.

“It will be interesting to measure ourselves against the level of the European championship and see whether we are capable of competing with the best Supercar drivers.”
A step that has not gone unnoticed by Kevin Eriksson, who is pleased to see Casper Jansson continue his development within the RallyX ecosystem while also gaining experience at European level.
“We are very pleased to see Casper continue his FC2 programme this season. He delivered an exceptional 2025 campaign and proved that he is currently the benchmark driver in the category. RallyX has always been a very competitive environment for young drivers to develop, and Casper is a perfect example of that,” explains Kevin Eriksson.
“Casper is the one everyone wants to beat in 2026. His 2025 RallyX season was exceptional and he beat drivers such as McConnell, Eriksson and Hallman to the coveted FC2 crown after a flawless final weekend in RallyX Germany. Casper has emerged as one of the top rallycross drivers I have seen in recent years. It will be exciting to see him racing in 2026 with all eyes on him.”
“From the Olsbergs MSE side, we will work closely with Jansson Racing to make sure they can join as many RallyX events as possible, preferably all of them. For his Euro RX programme, obviously a fast but, most importantly, a reliable Supercar is needed. As a driver, I’m not worried whatsoever, as I know Casper is already performing at a very high level.”
