17-year-old Tyler Leach will become the newest member of the RallyX Americas grid for the 2026 season, joining the SET Loenbro Motorsports team in a First Corner FC2 in the Supercar division. Leach’s first race will be next weekend’s inaugural event at Crandon International Raceway, running as part of the Brush Run Speed Festival from June 19-21.
Leach began racing at the age of six in asphalt quarter midgets. He has seen extensive success on dirt ovals in IMCA modified and WISSOTA late model events, taking numerous race wins and podiums. Prior to his RallyX Americas debut, he will also be making his first appearance in a Super Late Model this week in the DIRTcar Summer Nationals, starting tonight at the Brownstown Bullring in Illinois. Leach follows in the footsteps of his brother, Michael, who previously raced the same FC2 Supercar in Nitrocross.
The SET Loenbro squad, a partnership between rallycross powerhouses SET Promotion and Loenbro Motorsports, has been one of the fastest in the sport in recent years. SET Promotion has seen more than two decades of success in the sport, including double-digit championship wins in Europe. Loenbro Motorsports was a frequent race winner and podium contender in Supercar action in both Global Rallycross and Americas Rallycross, with drivers like Steve Arpin, Brian Deegan, and Ken Block all having raced with the team.
With Tommi Hallman behind the wheel, the SET Loenbro partnership took victories at five different tracks across two continents in 2024 and 2025. Hallman will also be on the RallyX Americas grid with SET Promotion as their first driver to be announced in the Hypercar class.
