TRACK FACTS: RallyX Americas | Rounds 3-4: Eldora

RallyX Americas will bring a unique twist to the traditional racing program at Eldora Speedway this Friday and Saturday night, utilizing all parts of the World’s Greatest Dirt Track to put on an exciting pair of races under the lights. Here’s a look at what fans can expect from our course later this week:

LAUNCH AND OUT LAP

Drivers will take the start of their lap from Eldora’s concrete pit area, sending them into the high-speed Turns 1 and 2. The out lap will continue by sending them into Turns 3 and 4 of the oval, allowing them to take the start of the official first lap of any given race at high speed and with plenty of room to race.

MAIN LAP

The main lap sees drivers hit Turns 1 and 2 on every lap, but drivers will then duck into the infield at the end of the backstretch with a sharp left-hand corner. From there, they’ll face a multi-surface (dirt, concrete, gravel) chicane before charging back out of the infield and rejoining the oval frontstretch before the finish line.

JOKER LAP

The Joker will see drivers take an extra sharp cut to the left when coming out of the infield section. This split will set them up for a two-wide charge to the start-finish line and drag races to the checkered flag all weekend long.
