Oliver Eriksson wrapped up his 2026 campaign with the Open 4WD Pro title, while Lukas Andersson delivered a perfect final day at Estering. After dominating all three qualifying sessions before winning the Final, the JC Raceteknik driver collected all 24 points available on the final day of competition, but it was not enough to deny his fellow Swede the title.
Andersson puts the pressure on, Eriksson does enough
Starting the final day 24 points behind, Lukas Andersson needed a perfect run while hoping Eriksson would run into trouble. Andersson topped Q1, Q2 and Q3 to collect the 16 points awarded to the leader of the Intermediate Classification.
Eriksson could only manage eighth in the Open 4WD Intermediate Classification after a more difficult qualifying run, but still collected nine points. That was more than enough to secure the title, leaving him 19 points clear of Andersson with only eight still available in the Final.
Perfect score for Lukas Andersson
With the championship battle settled, Lukas Andersson converted his qualifying dominance into victory. The JC Raceteknik driver won the Final by 2.247 seconds over Romet Tsirna, winner of the opening race of the weekend.
After a retirement in Q2 had dropped him to seventh in the Intermediate Classification, Tsirna fought back to take second place ahead of Viktor Kristensson.
Oliver Eriksson finished fourth, 5.793 seconds behind the winner, while Emil Naessen and Tobias Daarbak failed to complete a lap.
With his 24-point haul, Andersson increased his total to 207 and finished the championship 14 points behind Eriksson. The new champion ends the season with three victories and six podiums from ten races, having consistently scored big points at every round.
Andersson finishes the campaign with three victories and eight podiums. Romet Tsirna completes the championship top three with 184 points, one victory and seven podium finishes.
Kristensson wins in Pro Am
Before finishing third in FC2, Viktor Kristensson had already claimed victory in Pro Am.
The Swede had to withstand a late charge from René Münnich, with just 0.155 seconds separating the pair at the finish.
European Autocross Championship driver Mervin Klaassen took third place, 9.548 seconds behind the winner, ahead of Tobias Daarbak and Bart Bel. Mats Öhman, who had qualified second in Open 4WD behind Andersson, was forced to retire after just one lap.
Münnich wins again in Supercar
Narrowly beaten by Kristensson in Pro Am, René Münnich immediately bounced back in Supercar.
Driving his Seat Ibiza, the German took victory ahead of Mats Öhman and Bart Bel. Having already won on Saturday, Münnich completed his Estering weekend with two Supercar victories, as well as a second-place finish in Pro Am.
