After two highly successful seasons in the Supercar Lites category within the RallyX Championship, Tobias Daarbak is set to take the next step in his career in 2026 by moving up to an FC2 program.
Twice finishing fourth overall in the Supercar Lites standings in both 2024 and 2025, the young Danish driver built an impressive record that includes two victories and no fewer than 13 podium finishes.
Performances that were enough to establish him as one of the leading figures on the Supercar Lites scene. However, as he announced last August at the Buxtehude circuit, it is in the championship’s premier category that Tobias Daarbak will now continue his development within RallyX.
On the brink of this new chapter, Daarbak fully embraces a decision driven by the search for sensations better aligned with his driving style. After two seasons rich in experience, the move to FC2 appears as a natural progression in his career.
“The Supercar Lites has given me a huge amount of experience over the past two seasons,” Tobias explains. “But if I chose to move up to FC2, it’s primarily because the additional power this car offers suits my driving style better. I feel this category will be more capable of showcasing my strengths.”
Over the winter, the Danish team opted to transform the Supercar Lites car used by Tobias Daarbak last season at the Olsbergs-MSE workshops, integrating the renowned kit developed by the Swedish company.
“As for the car conversion, I can’t go into technical details,” he adds. “We dismantled one of our Supercar Lites cars at home before taking it to OMSE, where it was then completely rebuilt into an FC2.”

Facing the established benchmarks of RallyX, the Dane knows he will need to find his feet quickly.
“Competing against the best RallyX drivers in FC2 is obviously a huge challenge. Racing against the references of the sport is extremely demanding, but it’s also what motivates me the most. It pushes me to raise my level and show what I’m capable of.”
Most importantly, Tobias Daarbak will not be arriving entirely in the unknown behind the wheel of this turbo-powered FC2.
“I’ve already had the chance to drive a Supercar in the past, a Ford Fiesta, but that experience remains limited. I only contested two races with that car before the Covid-19 pandemic brought our program to a halt. The Fiesta is still at home today, and we may consider selling it.”
Fully aware of the scale of the challenge ahead, the Danish driver approaches the 2026 season with a clear-headed mindset.
“The 2026 season will above all be a learning year, to get to know the car and measure myself against the other drivers in the category. But one thing is certain: even in a learning phase, I will take the start with a true winner’s mentality.”
After sharing the track with his brother Kevin in Supercar Lites, Tobias Daarbak now views this sporting separation positively, as it should allow him to express himself more freely on track.
“Racing alongside my brother in Supercar Lites wasn’t always easy. In certain situations, it made things more complicated on track. Today, even if we can no longer share our experience in the same way, I’m relieved that we’re no longer racing together. Neither of us wanted to risk compromising the other’s race, which sometimes led us to be overly cautious.”
