Filip Martinsson opts for Renault Clio Supercar

Three-time Swedish Rallycross Champion Filip Martinsson has confirmed his move to the RallyX championship.

An emblematic figure in the Swedish national rallycross championship, Filip Martinsson has decided to take his career to the next level.

Third in the junior championship in 2019, he won the title a year later ahead of Klara Andersson.

Since then he has continued to impress. Beaten by Oskar Hellström in the junior class in 2021, Filip Martinsson has since made up for lost time by winning two more Swedish championship titles.

Winner of the 2150cc class in 2022 with a total of three wins, he dominated the Supernationell class in 2023 with no less than three wins and five podiums.

In 2024, Martinsson will make his debut in RallyX and the Open 4WD class at the wheel of Andreas Carlsson’s Renault Clio Supercar.

Competing in the Pro-Am championship, the Swedish driver plans to contest the entire 2024 season with a car that has already proven itself in RallyX.
