Simon Olofsson back in action

The most successful driver in the history of Supercar Lites in the RallyX championship, two-time defending champion Simon Olofsson, will return to the fray in the colours of the STS RX team.

If his battle with Martin Enlund and Lukas Andersson lived up to all its promises in 2023, with the championship being decided in the very last minutes of the season, Simon Olofsson will once again be one of the favourites, even if he admits that a few appearances at the wheel of the brand new FC2 could be on the agenda.

With three wins and five podiums from the eight races on the calendar last year, the Charlottenberg resident has already defined the outlines of his season.

“I’m back for another campaign in the RallyX championship, but I’m not sure yet whether I’ll contest the entire Supercar Lites championship. It all depends on the opportunities that come my way, as I also want to try my hand at driving the new FC2,” says Simon.

Despite winning back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023, his motivation remains the same.

“As long as I’m having fun behind the wheel and surrounded by the right people, I know I’ll continue to work in good conditions. In that context, everything becomes easier. In fact, my goals will be the same as in previous seasons, always trying to find new ways to improve every weekend”.

Throughout his career Simon Olofsson has claimed no less than 13 victories and a total of 23 podium finishes. These statistics make the Swede the most productive driver in the history of the RallyX championship, just ahead of Johan Kristoffersson’s 13 wins and 20 podiums.
