CrossCar: RallyX bets on stability for 2024

At the end of a particularly exciting 2023 campaign in the Junior CrossCar category, which saw Mikael Uitto win a second consecutive title and Sebastian Enholm add his name to the Senior CrossCar honours list for the first time in his career, the RallyX championship has confirmed the main outlines for the 2024 season.

Indeed, as far as technical regulations are concerned, very few changes are to be expected for the competitors in both categories.

“Regarding the 2024 regulations, they will remain the same as they were in 2023,” says Andreas Eriksson.

“The only things that will change will be small adjustments, as we’ll be raising the weight scale for the Junior CrossCar category from 395 to 410 kilos, while we’ll be taking care to supervise the Senior category in terms of both the vehicle weight and the current Engine Control Unit rules. These are elements we’ll be communicating about a little later in the off-season”

“From 2025 onwards, on the other hand, we will be opening up a new phase in the regulations. This will mainly concern vehicle safety. Here too, we’ll be coming back to this subject in greater detail once we have all the elements at our disposal”
